A tribe in Kenya will receive blankets and mosquito nets

In a northern county in Kenya called Samburu, traditionally nomadic tribespeople are trying to settle down. The reality is, in the modern world, they can no longer forage and gather food as freely as before so they needed to adapt. The Mzizi Community Development Organization was formed to teach the the tribe how to plant and grow crops. This way, tribespeople can feed themselves without having to go far. Aside from growing food, the organization also supports orphans and facilitates initiatives related to education and health. Lisa and Msammy from Mzizi sent us an application for a specific purpose - to protect the vulnerable members of the tribe from a very common mosquito-borne disease called malaria. They have other projects in line too but the $1000 from Project Nightfall Organization will be dedicated primarily to the purchase and distribution of blankets and mosquito nets.

Here's what Msammy has to say:

"Thank you very much!!! [I] am so excited and happy for us to win a $1000 [from] Project Nightfall.

Thank you for your consideration."

It is an honor to be able to help these causes and we are truly thankful to you, Nightfam. It may look simple but these are real needs that can save lives of people! We can never go this far without your continued support.
